In today’s world, there is a widespread belief in the predictability of events. The advanced development of science and technology makes it seem unrealistic that a situation that has not been at least signaled as possible may occur. Reality, however, constantly surprises us with events that are shocking to such an extent that they have gained their own definition. Our panel will focus on black swans and their impact on logistics. As a starting point we will consider what factors have affected the supply chains in conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. Our experts will present what customs, transport and logistics solutions ensure effective delivery of commercial goods, humanitarian aid and all kinds of military support in times of intensifying military conflict in Ukraine.
