W4UA Evening Gala’s – part 2 – will host a very special band – the Kalush Orchestra. Kalush Orchestra won 2022’s Eurovision Song Contest – after the competition, they proudly announced that the victory was not only theirs but for all Ukrainians to celebrate. They blend hip hop with folk motifs and elements from Ukrainian traditional music. Kalush Orchestra travels with their music around Europe, spreading awareness about the current situation in Ukraine, singing proudly in Ukrainian language and making it heard in all corners of Europe, and inspiring even more people to join the fight against the russian aggressor. Their concert raises the spirit of all audiences and is a statement of the Ukrainian culture that is vibrant and fully alive.
