Occupied and recently de-occupied areas have specific needs and severe conditions that require special attention. Lack of heating supplies, severe water shortage, and constant electricity interruptions are only some of the daily struggles. Understanding of these conditions is necessary both on behalf of companies that are trying to support the creation of innovative heating supplies or fast-track reconstruction projects, as well as NGOs who are themselves evacuating people from these areas and providing medical aid. This panel discussion composed of representatives of NGOs and think tanks will engage in a conversation with the Mayor of Skadovsk who was forced to flee his city and manage its affairs from afar.
