08.12.2022, 11:00 - 12:30 Conference Room B - Level 1 Health and family welfare
With an inspiring group of female activists from Ukraine and Poland, this panel discussion looks specifically at the many ways that the war has affected women in this conflict. Difficult questions of emotional hardships of being separated from their loved ones, challenges of motherhood during war and risks of sexual violence will be discussed. But we will also look at the positive aspects of empowerment through entrepreneurship, the female activism in delivering aid, as well the power of refugee communities. The objective of this discussion is to raise awareness amongst the many actors working in humanitarian aid in regards to specific conditions of women.
