There are currently over 4,000 orphans who had to be evacuated from Ukraine and are currently living in various orphanages in Poland. Children range from 1 year-old to shy of 18 years-old and have various educational, psychological and medical needs. Given the Moratorium on Intercountry Adoption in Response to the Conflict in Ukraine, the need for interim care is more relevant than expected. In this panel we will learn about the support and services being offered and organized to support orphaned children in Poland as well as the efforts to address the moratorium.
