09.12.2022, 11:00 - 12:30 Conference Room C - Level 1 Economic recovery

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public in areas such as environmental, philanthropic, ethical, and economic. The war in Ukraine has put companies from the region and the world at large in a real-time stress-test, resulting in higher demand for true CSR. Many businesses in Europe responded immediately and generously: providing aid, refugee assistance, logistics, as well as free volunteer manpower. How else is CSR realized? How do such CSR activities impact the operations of the companies? How to understand CSR better in these circumstances? Last but not least – where is the red line when businesses need to mitigate their philanthropy in order to survive in an ever-changing and more demanding environment? We will highlight those issues during the panel.
